Hampshire and Isle of Wight Social Prescribing Network Conference on 23rd November 2022 9am - 2pm at the Winchester Vineyard Church
There is a growing recognition that Social Prescribing can have a positive, transformational effect on the health and wellbeing of those who engage with it. This conference will explore 'Why Social Prescribing Works?'.
There's an opportunity for you to book a 'Market Stall' to showcase your service during the break and lunchtime.
The day starts with a Mindfulness Testimonial & Taster Session followed by a talk about regional and national perspectives on the impact of Social Prescribing and the Health Sector.
Following a refreshments/comfort break there will be three one hour Workshops to choose from:
Workshop 1 - Tackling Health Inequalites
Workshop 2 - Social Prescribing And Health & Wellbeing - Impact and Evaluation
Workshop 3 - Sources of Social Prescribing and Health & Wellbeing Funding
Next there is an opportunity to hear first-hand from a few Hants & IoW Social Prescribing Network members:
There will be an NHS England Social Prescriber, a Citizens Advice Hampshire Home & Well Project Lead and an Energise Me Regeneration representative. We will also hear from those who have benefitted from some of these Social Prescribing services.
Finally, a networking lunch!
