State of the Sector
Hampshire's VCSE sector
What’s the state of Hampshire’s VCSE sector?

State of the sector

Every two years since 2009, Action Hampshire has undertaken the State of the Sector research, on behalf of the Hampshire CVS Network. You can view our page on Hampshire CVS network via this link, or visit the main Hampshire CVS website by clicking this link.

The purpose of this research project is to develop an overall picture of the sector and to increase understanding of areas in which voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are thriving and where they may require more support. By identifying key issues, the Hampshire CVS Network can develop their service delivery and better advocate on behalf of the sector to address their needs, meaning VCSE organisations’ voices are heard.

Below you can find more information about our two latest reports. For copies of our reports from 2009-2019 please contact our Community Researcher, Jess (jessica.johnson@actionhampshire.org)

State of the Sector - 2021

Alongside the 2021 edition of the report, we’ve gathered some of the most interesting data points into four sets of visualisations.

May I start by congratulating you on this piece of work. Clearly a lot of work has been invested in this and I think that it will provide a great overview of where the region’s sector finds itself after the pandemic.
