How Can We Combat Modern Slavery?

10/01/2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Advocacy Project
Do you know the signs of modern slavery? Or how to support somebody at risk? This will be the topic of their first event in the New Year, click this link and register now to join the conversation.

The Advocacy Project's next discussion is on 10 January, when Charlotte Jamieson, Modern Slavery and Exploitation Coordinator for Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster, will explain how to detect signs of modern slavery, and what to do if you suspect somebody is at risk.
For those working in advocacy roles or directly with people whose circumstances make them vulnerable, it’s very important to understand what modern slavery and exploitation look like in today’s world. This session will also look at what you should do if somebody you know is at risk of harm.
There will be plenty of time for Q&A in the second half of the session, so bring your questions. This event is taking place via Zoom.
