Communities Against Cancer workshop

Come along to our free Cancer Awareness online workshop.

This is open to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations, as well as partners from Health, local authorities, and communities in Hampshire & the Isle of Wight. You are welcome if you are paid staff, volunteer, community member or trustee.

This is a friendly, informal online workshop where you will learn about cancer awareness as part of our Communities Against Cancer project. This is funded by Wessex Cancer Alliance and is about reaching communities who may experience health inequalities and helping spread messages of cancer awareness.

The session covers:

• Signs and symptoms
• Cancer Screening
• How to reduce risk of cancer
• There will also be the opportunity to share ideas with others and discuss good practice in having conversations about cancer awareness.
