Introduction to Working Alongside Women in the Sex Industry

This course is delivered by a specialist frontline practitioner with substantial experience of working directly with women, as well as an in-depth understanding of policy, service creation and national context. The content is shaped by 20 years of practice and our continual bias of learning from women with Lived Experience.

The session aims to give:

An introduction to the context– is it sex work, prostitution or human trafficking?
An introduction to our approach and ways to connect with us
Insight into your next step
An opportunity to engage Beyond the Streets staff in a Q & A session

This event is aimed at making the sector stronger and to learn about a woman centred approach. We ask that all who attend respect this intention as this is not provided as an opportunity to debate the various political views to this issue.

Audience – any professionals in the charity sector /anyone who wants to learn more or hear more about a woman centred approach to working with women in the sex industry.
