Online Safety Workshop for Southampton’s Black and Ethnically Diverse Residents Over 55

Get confident online and learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from online harms in this free Online Safety workshop. This workshop covers:
- Use the internet, email and WhatsApp safely
- Keep your personal information safe from hackers
- Protect yourself from online scammers
- Identify fake news and disinformation
- Find information from reputable sources
- Report and reduce nuisance messages
This workshop is delivered by Our Version Media and funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) as part of the government’s media literacy programme to protect people - particularly those from minoritised communities - from online disinformation and cyber crime.
