Soup Fundraiser – a Community Event for Good Causes!

You will have the opportunity to act like one of the dragons on Dragons Den, and vote on who the pot of money is donated to. We have invited 6 local small charities and good causes to pitch for 3 minutes on why you should choose them and what impact the money could make.

Tickets will cost £25, preferably taken as cash on the door and includes; a £20 cash donation to our prize pot and £5 to cover your meal (actual soup - a variety of flavours will be available on the day). After voting, the prize money will be split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

But that's not all! Not only is it a great opportunity to financially support local positive initiatives in a fun way, but it is a chance for us to strengthen the bonds within our community and forge new connections. What better way to mark the birthday of Board in the City and Trans Day of Visibility than a celebration of community and inclusion that is at the heart of everything we do.

At the end of the evening, you will have the opportunity to network with the presenting organisation/s and, if their pitches have moved you to do so, choose your own ‘Legacy’;
• Contribute your skills; this may be through business advice, marketing skills, or signing up for on-the-ground volunteering - the possibilities are endless, and you may be inspired to use your skills in a new way that you've never considered before!
• Make a one-off donation (Using QR codes, provided on the night)
• Set up a reoccurring donation
